Jefferson Hunter

Jefferson finds fulfillment in bringing value to companies and working with people to solve complex problems. Jefferson has analytical and research experience in primatology as a research assistant at the California National Primate Research Center while studying epigenetic contributions to bodyweight. As founder and president of Itara Solar Solutions, a social venture in Rwanda helping individuals obtain access to electricity, he gained experience helping to solve social problems in Eastern Africa. Additionally, he has won research competitions pertaining to the Rwandan education system. Jefferson gained additional international experience while living in Korea for two years for religious service. Jefferson is a President of the Business in Health Professions Club at Brigham Young University and has done marketing, search engine optimization, and data analytics in the healthcare industry, most recently helping SyncTimes, a recent startup, secure a $1.5 M contract with a large healthcare system. He joined University Impact to help solve the difficult problems the world faces. When Jefferson is not working he enjoys soccer, spike ball, and playing games with family.
