Shandon Esplin

Shandon is a southern Utah native and is studying strategic management at BYU. He discovered a love for entrepreneurial problem solving and social impact while living in Africa, as he created an employment workshop in a poor African community.
He has taken this love for solving unstructured problems with him as he’s interned for Global Financial Advisors, Homie, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Shandon has a passion for education and is interested in spending some time with Teach for America after he graduates. From there he hopes to transition into investment banking or an ed-tech startup.
Some of Shandon’s greatest accomplishments outside of impact investing include performing in the best band to come out of So. Utah (The 5ive Seasons), surviving a lion attack in rural Africa, and riding 2.3 seconds on bull named Chubbs.
